Mom Can I paint? How many turns does it take!!!

The kids always ask. Mom Can I paint? And Of course most of the time I say no because it just gets all over. This time I said yes, and yes we had it all over, up to the elbows, on Katelyn's princess dress, and all over the table. But thats alright it washes right. Making memories is what it's all about.

Frosting Anyone?

Dad was closing his eyes and pouting about something and I happen to received a spatula with yummy chocolate frosting on it (from Aunt Gina) and I took the opportunity to give dad some GREAT TASTING frosting. He didn't even see it coming.

What I didn't know was that he was going to chase me around the house trying to kiss me to give me some of that yummy frosting.

Anika's Play "Bugs in the Garden"

Anika was so nervous for her play, I didn't understand why! The teacher sent a paper home for her to practice her lines. I thought all of the kids will be saying the same line together so there is no worries, she will blend right in. So I thought.

Anika Getting into her costume She was a Catterpillar that turned into a Butterfly. She sat on the stage with 3 other kids. Yea only three other kids I thought they were all getting a part. Nope she was on her own to say her part all by herself. She did wonderful "Mom, they taped our lines on the floor I was really nervous but that helped me to remember my lines.
